Vicki: What did we do in the days before reverse directories?

Henry: Do you know what it's like trying to draw with someone looking over your shoulder?
Vicki: Mmmm - it makes you want to stop work and discuss my case.
Henry: I have a deadline. If this book isn't in with the printers at the end of the month, my editors are gonna kill me - again.
Vicki: So much for a timeless existence as one of the Children of the Night.
Henry: Welcome to the twenty-first century.
Vicki: But Henry, these people need our help.
Henry: I gave at the office.
Vicki: The little prince doesn't help the homeless?
Henry: I wandered Europe for years after the great war - I know what it's like to have nothing.

Vicki: I've called the police in on this, but I just think that a vampire's nose for blood will find things in a sewer that they will miss.
Henry: Sewer? You didn't say anything about a sewer!
Vicki: Cuz I was saving the best for last.

Mike: I'll help you with your case if you'll help me with mine.
Vickie: Still need me for the tough stuff, huh?

Vicki: This isn't Henry. He doesn't do this!
Mike: Oh Really! Fang Boy doesn't eat?
Vicki: He doesn't kill!

Mike: (to Vicki) Who are you and what have you done with Vicki Nelson?

Mike: Any idea who he was with two nights ago?
Vicki: Two nights ago he was with me.
Mike: All night?
Vicki: Most of it.
Mike: Oh, I hope I never need you as an alibi

Mike: Listen - I have a body with two puncture wounds, no blood and no sign of struggle - even if I didn't believe in vampires, I'd be thinking vampire.

Mike: Is it Henry, your new partner? Or are we talking about some kind of bloodsucking convention in town?

Vicki: It's just a conversation - nothing to worry about.
Henry: That's what my father said to Anne Boleyn - right before he took her head.

Henry: (to Mike) How do we do his? You hit me with phone books until I confess?

Mike: What exactly is your type Henry? O Negative?

Vicki: All we need now is a flame-thrower.
Coreen: Done. I'll need an hour. I made one last year for a party.

Henry: You know how I survived 500 years?
Vicki: Mega doses of vitamin C and complete danger-avoidance?
Henry: Picking my battles.

Henry: One doesn't win an argument with you.
Vicki: Don't even bother.

Henry: I have killed people, and I will kill again.
It's part of who - and what I am.

Henry: I spent a long time learning to control my impulses. I'm not human Vicki.
And every once in a while, somebody's gotta die.

Vicki: You're the one who was learning military strategy in his diapers - you must have some idea.

Coreen: Vampires - don't leave home without them.

Mike: How do you know my gun's calibre?
Coreen: Glock, nine millimeter, nine by nineteen casing, right?

Trivia


Mike Celluci seems to have a sister named Molly and a nephew named Dylan.

Mike says "Listen - I have a body with two puncture wounds" - we've just seen a close-up showing four puncture wounds.

We learn that Henry wandered Europe for years after The Great War (World War I) - either he met a lot of poor people - or he was poor himself.

Anne Boleyn was executed May 19th 1536 - only two months later, the historical Henry Fitzroy died on June 18th, 1536

Henry and Vickie are different colors when viewed via Wendigo vision - Henry is yellow, Vicki is more reddish. Might be because of different body temperatures.

Coreen's research shows that according to some myths, Wendigo hearts were made of ice.

There are at least two Illumination del Sols - when Mendoza removes one from Delphine's chest, he places it on a table, next to another one.
